Once in Jiaoxi, how to get around?

Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Jiaoxi Line runs as an A line and a B line. The A line goes from Jiaoxi Transfer Station to Fo Guang University and stops at Wufengqi Scenic Area, about 30 minutes end to end. Fares are per ride: NT$10-20 cash, NT$10-15 by stored-value card. Kamalan Bus also sells a Jiaoxi Line day pass for NT$60 covering both lines, worth it from three rides a day.

Chartered car is the most comfortable with kids — half-day about NT$2,000-3,000. Split among four or more people, it's quite reasonable, and you avoid waiting for buses and figuring out routes.

For Jiaoxi with kids, driving is our top choice. Carrying strollers and all the kids' stuff on buses is genuinely inconvenient. If not driving with kids, chartered car or taxi is recommended. The Tourist Shuttle is better suited for adult-only independent travel.

Second and third tiers require more stamina and time — not recommended for young children.
